CBH Distinguished Volunteers Nominations - 2017

Nominate CBH partners who have given extraordinary service to the congregation for special recognition! Submission deadline is Monday, June 12, 2017.

You're invited to nominate partners in our congregation to be recognized as Distinguished Volunteers at a celebratory event this Fall.  The Board of Directors will recognize up to five Distinguished Volunteers this year. Their names will be added to the Pomegranate Donor Recognition Wall installed in the Social Hall.  To be eligible, nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Have served the synagogue in a consistent, sustained manner over time and not have been named previously as a Distinguished Volunteer, or a Founders' Spirit Award recipient (see list here)
  • Be a current CBH partner in good standing, or have been a partner in good standing at the time of death or other departure from the community
  • Have shown devotion to CBH at a level that far exceeds what a CBH partner might typically provide, both in the quantity and quality of their efforts, and including one or more of the following types of service:
    • Held leadership roles at CBH
    • Mentored/served as a role model for others
    • Inspired others to give of themselves
    • Represented CBH in the community-at-large
    • Organized and/or led significant events at CBH
    • Created new programs or events at CBH
    • Shown a positive and supportive attitude, creativity and initiative
    • Contributed substantially to a program that has had a significant impact on CBH

To nominate a partner for this honor, please complete the form below by Monday, June 12, 2017.  A separate form should be completed for each nomination that you may choose to make.  Provide as much information as possible describing the reason(s) for your nomination; this will greatly help the committee with their evaluation process.

Questions? Please contact committee leaders Rob Egel or Meryl Rappaport by clicking their names.
